I have a special fondness for Berlin Bowie, The Thin White Duke, and Scary Monsters-era Bowie. They will probably make up the majority of the Bowie pictures that I post.

In addition to Bowie, my other heroes include a not-so-average Jim named Morrison and a second David, Mr. David Gilmour. I also like music from Pink Floyd, Radiohead, The Velvet Underground, Queen, Tom Waits, The Smiths, Led Zeppelin, Kalafina, KOKIA, King Crimson, Pogo, Björk, and Joy Division.

Rei II
A melancholy ballad featuring the deep sounds of the cello. The higher violins join later, but it’s that sweet, low sound that punctuates the piece. Eighth note cascading scales melt into long tones, and the strings are soon accompanied by brushes, a gentle piano, and acoustic guitar. The string section evokes a beautiful vibrato that fits the mood of the piece.
